Course Overview
Aviation Maintenance Technology is a comprehensive course that familiarizes the student with Federal Aviation Regulations, weight and balance, maintenance forms and records, physics of flight, and the industry of aviation. The course also covers various onboard systems including flight control surfaces, avionics, propellers, and landing gear. Reciprocation engine and gas turbine engine operating theory and overhaul practices are emphasized. This course familiarizes students with the inspection, damage evaluation and repair of most components and systems us on aircraft.
